Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambore National Park or Ranthambhore is one of the largest national parks in northern India. It is situated in Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, about 110 km north east of Kota and 130 km south east of Jaipur, which is also the nearest airport. The nearest town and railway station is at Sawai Madhopur, about 11 km away.
Ranthambhore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India, and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambore became a national park in 1980. In 1984, the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary, and in 1991 the tiger reserve was enlarged to include the Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi sanctuaries.


Forest member has publish a book "Face to Face-The tigers of Ranthambore" which contain all the tigers and other animal profile one can figure out by using his photograph and there body structure of 26 animals.
Book contain all the tigers with there names namely:
T3-Bahadur,T6-Ramo,T8-Laadli,T9-mallika,T11-Chirolli female,T13-Old sultanpur female,T16-Fish,T17-Sundari,T19-krishna,T20-Jhumroo,T22-Gayatri,T23-Bhola,T24-Ustaad,T25-Jalim,T26-Sarmili,T28-Star male,T30-Husanara,T31-Indu,T33-hamiir,T34kumbha,T37-Meera,T39-Noor,T41-Laila,T42-Fateh,T43-Surjan,T47-mr.bond.

T22-Gayatri: Given based on Maharani Gayatri Devi, Rajmata of Jaipur
T42-Fateh: Fateh Singh Rathore,Tiger man
T24-Ustaad:The Largest tiger in Ranthambore National park
